Detailed Description

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme is a professional postgraduate degree designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in computer science, software development, and modern information technologies. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA programme should have passed any recognized Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduation level. Applicants must have secured the minimum marks prescribed by the University/Government from time to time. Admission shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the University and the Government. Reservation policies and eligibility relaxations for eligible categories will be applicable as per prevailing norms.

Admission Process

Admissions to the MCA programme are conducted as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Kerala and the Controller of Entrance Examinations. • 50% of seats are allotted through the centralized allotment process conducted by LBS Centre/Government of Kerala based on the entrance examination. • The remaining 50% seats are filled by CPAS based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Candidates must qualify the entrance examination and satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Government, University, and regulatory authorities from time to time. • Reservation policies and applicable relaxations for eligible categories shall be followed as per prevailing Government norms. • No additional fee is levied for admissions conducted under the CPAS merit quota.

Fee structure is as per Government and University norms. • Total Fee: ₹31390 (First Semester, at the time of admission) • Tuition Fee: ₹21,000 for second semester • Tuition Fee: ₹22990 for Third semester • Tuition Fee: ₹21,000 for Fourth semester • Additional special/university fees applicable as per University and Government norms Approximate total programme fee: ₹96380
